traditionally, christmas is not celebrated by Hindus. however, due to westernization of the country, plus the fact that Christmas is a world-recognized holiday (whether for religious reasons or not), it has become more popular in India amongst Hindus to celebrate. Of course, the Christian families in India have always celebrated Christmas by attending their local churches, decorating with lights and inviting family and friends over. Nowadays, even Hindus celebrate Christmas with family and friends, and some more open-minded ones even attend church that day. Hindus believe in celebrating god, no matter what shape or form.

Very much, I normally get more cakes and sweets from my fellow christian friends.

With a bit of customization to suite Indian taste that makes the difference. however celebration is always there to maximum extent
