Stay with the IE6, the new one wasn't compatible with our computer and caused so many problems, we took the new 7 out and it removed 6 too,so we couldn't even get on the internet, I had to do a system restore to get it back, the IE7 was a mistake!

I would recommend you try IE 7. Some of those who answered gave incorrect information. IE 7 is not in beta. The final version has been out for several weeks now. IE 6 was released 6 years ago, which makes it the oldest piece of Microsoft software. 6 years without any major update. A lot has changed on the Internet during those 6 years making IE 6 very outdated. IE 6 has outdated security, web standards and technology. Microsoft never bothered to update IE 6 since there was no incentive to do so. With IE 6, you have this never ending cycle of bugs and patches to fix them.

I have yet to experience any problem with IE 7. All of my toolbars and other browser help objects (BHO) work fine in IE 7. The security has vastly improved. Finally, IE 7 adds tab browsing, integrated search box, rss aggregation and session saver - features long available in Firefox and Opera web browser.

I think you should give it a try. If you don't like it, you can always go to back to IE6. It is not difficult to rollback to IE 6.

IE 6.. a lot of things aren't compatible with IE7 yet.. certain websites and whatnot.. I'd suggest sticking with IE6 until later on down the road.

Upgrade, IE7 font rendering is far better and tabs.... Still not as good as FireFox2 and Opera is the fastest browser i've seen. Depends what you want i guess, as a web developer i have them all for testing but use FireFox

I wouldn't rush. IE7 has a lot of instability issues. I am still happy using IE6.

I am waiting a while longer because I see a lot of complaining on Answers about IE 7. Give a little longer to work the bugs out.

I would wait to upgrade anything, Last I knew IE7 was still in beta and to be honest, I hate it. I have received many errors from it and it does not submit forms correctly. My best advise...Switch to Mozilla if you want tabbed browsing. I love the add on skins and the book mark toolabr.
