I believe in God, just not the bible's version...I believe that the life spirit is alive in all of us, its so beautiful and unrestricted, why are Christains taking such huge offense to this?

most people have no idea what buddhism is or what it's about, but they think they know and have preconcieved judgements about it.

It takes a while for people to understand such different philosophies. I mean, a lot of then still believe God as a tradional male individual sitting on a throne in the clouds. Oh, and applemant is a moron. Anyone that accuses someone for not understanding buddhist philosophies when they obviously don't act accordingly don't rate highly. And it just pisses me off when anyone assumes people do stuff "for attention". It's been done, we get it, everything we do is for attention, this is a freaking Q&A

The simple answer is that they don't take offense and you are just overreacting an an attempt to get attention. Maybe what annoys people is your grade 1 level understanding of Buddhist philosophy.

people assume that because they're ignorant and like to assume things even though they know absolutely nothing about it. many people, especially in the U.S., just don't seem to accept other cultures....its either their culture or barbarians....
