It's pathetic that everybody thinks that a ton of feathers and bricks are the same. NOT. Truly, it is basic that someone who thinks they will be fooled by the volume of feathers being a lot more than the bricks therefore the feathers are heavier but the keyword is not material of feathers or bricks but by the weight which is TON. Unfortunately, most if not all morons who answered believed that the definition of TON applicable to feathers and bricks are the same. NOT. A TON of feathers is 2,100 pounds while a ton of bricks is 2,000 pounds. Each material belongs to a different weight system but both are referred to as TON. So, in answer to your question - A TON OF FEATHERS OUTWEIGHS A TON OF BRICKS.

the same. but to see an actual ton of bricks next to a ton of feathers would be pretty cool. That would probably be the most comfortable bed ever (the feathers!)

if they both are a ton then they are equal.there would be more feathers than bricks but they would weigh the same.some people would think 'oh! the bricks!'because in general a brick weighs more than a feather.
