I wasn't aware Bush was running in the midterm elections, did I miss something? BTW, if Kerry is so bright, how did he lose to a moron like Bush and what does that say about those who voted for Kerry. Stupid is as stupid does?

I think Bush is dumber than the average voter, because the American voters have hundreds of issues to consider - we in the UK know nothing about the US economy & its state-provided services, so we base our view of him purely on Iraq (and we do not give Bush credit for low oil prices like they do, nor do we know what he was thinking - a gutsy man he is for giving it a try & thinking he could make things better for the Iraqis and for the Americans at the same time).
We also were not subjected to millions of dollars worth of persuasive propaganda/campaign advertising to confuse us.
So on the whole, I would say that the average voter is wiser than Bush, in spite of the thousands of advisors who work for him, though it is hard to say whether the average Bush voter is wiser than he is - probably not.

The people that voted for Bush (like me) are indeed stupid.
I was going to vote Libertarian, but i decided to vote Dem straight ticket to show these guys that they can be voted out for choosing to be anti-AmericanCitizen's Freedom... the Repubs sound like the Liberals of old.

Bush is elected President of America and he deserves respect. A politician has to take long term decision which he thinks is in the interest of his country. Bush and his voters may make mistake in judgment but their sincerity to America is beyond doubt. Decision to attack Iraq may be questionable, but attack on Afghanistan was for the sake of American security as then rulers failed to handover foreign terrorist responsible for attack on World Trade Center.

Bush is not stupid... and I know some poeple who voted for Bush but aren't stupid. At most they are misinformed or have self-centered way of thinking.
Thinking that they are stupid is dangerous and causes you and other to underestimate them while they get what they want.

Toss up, to vote for a coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals is pretty dumb if you ask me. Bush is also dumb enough to think that he could fool the people for four more years. But the very dumbest, people in this country are those that still support him and his evil agenda. These people should not be alowed to live on their own.
