Been there? Yes,
I live about 7 minutes away from the MOA and go there at least 2 times a week.
It is a fun place to be. There are 2 different food courts and plenty of actual restaurants. Nickelodeon Universe (previously Camp Snoopy) is pretty fun too. One of my favorite parts of MOA is people watching and socializing. It's a very positive environment. The stores cover a variety of different types of people as well. If you are a girl there is a huge Forever 21. It's a great store and they are constantly having sales and restocking with new things. Forever 21 actually has 2 floors itself, plus a pretty large men's section too.

In summary, I think it is a great place to visit.
520 stores.
50 restaurants.
America's largest indoor theme park.
PLUS the mall has no sales tax on clothing or shoes.

since you posted this in the amusement park category, I'm assuming you want to know about the park there. (I could be wrong, and I'm sorry if I am)
Anyway, The Park at the Mall of America (that is it's true name now, formerly Camp Snoopy) is okay. If you have little kids, there's plenty for them to do. There are a few thrilling rides, and only 2 roller coasters. Neither go upside down, and one is a spinning mouse coaster.
The mall itself is pretty good, but then again, I could be biased, cuz I'm a minnesotan.

Yes I've been there. Wasn't there long enough to see everything as we had gone to that area for dif reason. I would go back. Being indoors the amusement park is a little small & only has one coaster although plenty other rides. I'm more into coasters. But for kids it would be great. They have a large Legoland area too. Some shops are unique & they have an aquarium in the basement. There's plenty to see & do for everyone. So yeah, go & check it out.

I've been there many times and I like it!

It's got shopping. It's HUGE. And it has a small amusement park in it to boot!

But it all depends on you. If you like malls, you'll love this one (being the largest in the US). If you like to window shop, etc, you'll love it too!

But be prepared to walk. It's big and will take a while to walk the whole thing.

Have fun!

P.S. It opened on my birthday. How's that for a present!

i havent been there before but I wouldn't. I go to the West Edmonton Mall (WEM) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It's the largest mall in the world, and it has a huge amusement park and a huge water park! I live in Edmonton anyway.
