at the start. Prince William is unquestionably one of Prince Charles' heirs. And no. interior the line of succession Charles comes next. on condition that he abdicates can Prince William take the crown. Or while he dies. Prince William will become King William. And ignore on the subject of the remark which says that if Charles adjustments the countries' faith to Catholic. that is rubbish. that could have been authentic around 3 hundred hundred years in the past. And approximately marrying a Catholic she become in all possibility relating the Wallace Simpson incident. the only reason this brought about abdication become through fact she become divorced. So yeah :)

A prince or princess is His/Her Royal Highness. A Monarch is His/Her Majesty.
Her Britannic Majesty, Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith will never abdicate. At Her Coronation, She swore a sacred Oath to Almighty God that She would do Her Duty until death.
The whole concept of Monarchy (in the United Kingdom) is that the next in line succeeds the Throne on the death of the Sovereign. There can be no bartering, swapping or negotiations(other than abdication and that is extremely rare).
All things being equal, William will become William the Fifth at His appointed moment.

No, no monarch should abdicate in favour of the succeeding one! Nor should a monarch choose to 'skip' to the one not heir to the throne! What's up don't you like the present Queen? The British monarchy suffered a blow when Edward VIII abdicated for his love Wallace Simpson. The present monarch is doing a fine job and paying taxes into the bargain!

I believe that the Queen will continue to serve for as long as she feels she is providing a good service to the country and is physically able of doing so. I don't believe that who succeeds here is an issue in her mind (either Charles or William). Like Madonna said, "What do people want me to do? Reach 40 and just die?"

I'm all for Prince William becoming king but right now I feel he is a bit too young to take on that responsibility. I honestly think we should wait until the queen dies or becomes medically incompetent before we decide whether to skip Charles or not.

i believe the Queen will serve the British nation until the day she dies,Charles is next in line if the Queen lives to be 101 like her mother, the Queen now 80 makes another 21 years to serve Charles is 59 at present so he would then be king at 80

If the Queen were to abdicate, she would abdicate on behalf of all her heirs and successors and therefore none of the present heirs to the throne would be in the running any more. It wouldn't work.

William can not even be king til he is 25, anyway. I think the queen should be queen til she dies.
And if Charles feels he is too old, then William can be king.

I personally think that William and his future children and wife will be the royal family who are just like the normal, commoner family.

She is not allowed to abdicate. The only time she can step down is through ill health.

Absolutely not and whether we like it or not, unless Charles abdicates, the crown will go to him...it is his birthright...it cannot skip a generation.
