okay, so i have a spanish partner and were supposed to do a project in front of the class...where we have to have a "SPANISH" conversation. Well, i was giving all these great ideas on what it should be..! My partner just kept saying this, "oh my sister took 4 years of spanish, i'll just let her do it for us." and we have to memorize it WORD-FOR-WORD by monday...
what should i do??

I would tell the teacher. But your partner may deny it so be prepared to stand your ground. I mean why should you fail just because your partner is too lazy to actually do the work?

There's nothing you can do now besdies stick with the plan you've already got. It's far too late in the game to do anything else now. In the future, when you're given a group assignment like this, and you find that the partner you've been assigned looks like they're not willing to pull thier share of the weight, go talk to your teacher/ professor, immediately. Unless you're okay with being the only one who cares about the assignment, and you're willing to do all of the work yourself, there really isn't anything you can do about things like that. There will always be people who don't care enough about an assignment , and quite frankly, the fact that your grade will be affected by thier indifference doesn't really matter to people like that.

Has your partner give you any ideas?
You better sit on her doorstep until it is done. Or contact the teacher before class and let him know the problem. You may be able to get an extension and another partner.

Talk to her and come to a compromise. Let her sister write it but only if she'll do it with plenty of time in advanced, that way you can both look at it and if it's any good maybe you can just make a couple of changes to it and personalize it or if it's bad you can scrap it and do your own. Maybe just reading it will spark up some ideas of your own and you can come up with something great!
