if the person you want to text has sprint, you can use this link:
http://messaging.sprintpcs.com/textmessaging/compose

you dont have to enter in a callback number with this link. i dont know if it will send a text to other mobile numbers, i never tried before.

if you know the company of the person mobile go to there website and text from there, all wireless services web sites do not ask for your mobile number.
