It depends on the state you live in. One thing to keep in mind is that if you or a friend were pregnant and the parents wanted to force an abortion, you could always call an attorney in your state and find out the law there. Also, it wouldn't hurt to call your local social services office, Child Protective Services, etc to find out what can be done about it. I don't think it is right for anyone to be forced into an abortion.

No, they can't. I don't know if this is just in Georgia or all states - or what. However, once you become pregnant, you are an 'emancipated minor' which means that you can make the decisions on your own. There are only 3 ways to become one, and getting pregnant is one. Now, I don't recommend getting pregnant just to become an emancipated minor, however, you or who ever you are asking for does have some rights - either way. Good luck.

They can sure try. Many girls don't like to go against their parents in a situation like this and so they go ahead and do it anyways. If the girl really doesn't want to do it, then there are children's rights attorneys that can the Dr. or even the local law enforcement agency or Health and Human Services Department can contact for the minor.

depends where you live, I have heard that in certain states that legal gaurdian can force a child to abort the pregnancy, as well parents can also get a device put on these children as well so that they can not have sex, and if tried someone would get hurt and would not be able to perform for a week or 2 I seen it, pretty neat gaget.

No, no one can force you to an abortion, even when you are legally under age. That is not only wrong, it is illegal. If someone is trying to force you to an abortion you can get advice from local non profit organizations that help pregnant teenagers.

No one can FORCE you to get an abortion. Even if your a minor. You just say no and if they take you there , etc..then you speak up and tell the doctor you said No.

It all depends on the state you live in and how your parent'guardian is. You could call like social services, or an abortion agency and ask. I'm sure they would answer your question for you.

Nobody can force you to abort your child. If someone is in that position where parents are trying to force their child to abort a baby, they should get some counseling from someplace like carenet. Carenet offers free ultrasound and counseling so that you can actually see the baby.

It depends where you live- but yes they can make the choice for you if your a minor.... and they would have to pay for it- then it would be their money paying to take care of your pregnancy- your food( since you would still be at home) They would have to feed & cloth the baby not you.. Thats why people tell young kids to NOT have sex.....

I don't think so. They can't make you do that if you don't want to. And I applaud the girl that DOESN'T abort. She would regret it later if she did get an abortion.
