Until the American people All realize what Bush/Cheney have done regarding their part in 911, their hand in war mongering in Iraq & Afganistan and the Middle East, and their quest do remove the Bill of Rights from the Constitiution. Until at least a big majority of Americans understand that Bush / Cheney are not interested in anything but toppeling our way of life in America, well we are basically doomed!

A. The Democrats are not in charge now. They will only share power, and that starts next January.
B. I think you are a typical example of the uninformed American public. Perhaps you can give an example of how President Bush has acted as if he is a King? Perhaps you can provide some sort of evidence that the "oil barrons" are "stealing" our money.
Quit listening to the sound bites and slogans of the hateful left, and start doing some investigating of your own. "King George" will be replaced by the next elected President in January of 2008, just as the Constitution says he will.

Keep in mind that 12 years ago, the elections swung heavily to the Republicans. Why? Because we didn't like what the Democrats were doing then. Welcome to the see-saw of politics.
For those of you that think our government is evil... The American people were unhappy with how our country was being handled. So we voted for someone else and put them in office. Guess what that means? THE SYSTEM WORKS!!! If you're not happy with your politician, you CAN change it!!!!
For those of you against the war... You should think about it and consider that we are giving the Iraqi people this same right that we have exercised in the last week. We have given them the freedom to CHOSE their own leader. Not to stay under the vengeful thumb of an evil dictator for 20 years!
Think before you speak!!!!

I think Americans were unhappy with the direction the government had taken and decided it was time for a change. Personally, I believe the executive and legislative branches should be controlled by different parties. This creates a balance of power. It also will hopefully control the extremists from both left and right.

I think a huge mistake has been made by the American people, but oh well enjoy. I wouldn't live in a city for love or money. Terrorists view the Democrats as weak and they plan on acting on this. Keep up with the news. It is going to get interesting to say the least, no more dull humdrum. The changes will come with many terrorist attacks in the good ole USA.

I think that the liberal congress will drive this country into a recession, cause more harm than good in the middle east and turn the entire southwest over to the Mexican government.
I think that my taxes will increase by at least 30%. I guarantee that you will see more scandal and misconduct in Washington.
