Morocco is amazing I would definitely recommend you go there. There's a variety of things to do to suit everyones tastes!
Each city/town varies, the food is amazing, the people are friendly, they are used to tourists.
Every time I visit Morocco I see something new and even more amazing than my previous visit.
However, I have never been to Algeria.

I haven't been to either to be honest, but morocco is more developed with tourist resorts. It would be more welcoming. Then again is it for a holiday or to work? I would choose Morocco, simply because we see more about it on TV and I would feel safer there. I saw it done recently on a holiday programme and it looked like a nice place. Good luck with your decision.

well i havent been to algeria so i cant say anythin about it.
i have been to morocco and i really liked it. its cheap, hot and the places i vivited were very beautiful. we stayed in Asillah on the north coast just about an hour from tanger - beautiful beaches..ask for paradise beach, very quiet, got th place to yourself sort of beach. also manby cheap campsites and b+b's also big expensive hotals and resorts if thats what u want..

the riff mountains are stunning nand i was in awe of the beauty of the nature there - rivers and swimming holes surrounded by forests full of trees covered in pink flowers..wow. fez was a bit of anightmare place, wouldnt reccommend the cities..but then maybe you like that - very busy bustling cities. new laws stop the touts and sellers from hassling yor now so thats good and the new king has passed laws that give women equal rights so u now see women out and about in the streets wearin western style clothes-in the cities and tourist areas - u still need to cover legs and shoulders when goin further out, more for your sake than theirs, u just feel a bit uncomfortable and stared at!
food is yum but of a prob if u r a veggy.lots of meat dishes and u ca get bored of eatin either targine or cous cous all the time-lamb is big on the menu.
i would def go back there. uits great if u have a vehcle as u can go anywhere and thers plenty of campin sites. also good cheap smoke available..if u like that sorta thing! o an u gotta try the apple shisha's...mmmm

Depends what you in intend to go for, if it's just to sit on a beach then either have those. Never been to Algeria but have travelled around Morocco and culturally it's fascinating. Marrakech with its night markets and twisty backstreets was a cool place to unwind.
