My tomagotchi, when you put your ear to the hole that you pull the peice of paper out when you first get it, a beeping sound even when it is not hungry or making a call when it really is hungry or not happy. It is also really quiet, and it stops for a few minutes and then does it again. Is there something wrong with it?

the battery may be getting low. Have you tried resetting it to see what happens? Otherwise, write the company and get a refund.

no nothing is wrong. sometimes it beeps when it goes to the bathroom or something else like when it goes to hospital etc... but if it beeps for no reason you tamagotchi and it doesn't need any thing then you should give it a time out or it grow up to be selfish.

tamagotchis make a lot of noise, they always beep and make sounds. you should never leave the thing on for more than several mminutes or they get really annoying, or at least that is how i do it.
