Absolutely not. I've met the woman in person. She phishes a lot. Phishing is what "psychics" do to get information. They feed you information they think you might like. Then they wait for the response and decide what to say next basted on it. Since people want to remember the good things they forget the wrong statements or "misses" and remember the "hits" making it verry easy to make believers. Real psychics don't miss. That is a golden rule for all types of professionals. People who know what they are doing don't mess up near as much as people who pretend to be pros.
Don't be fooled, this woman is verry good at playing people. She almost had me until she started "reading" me one day at her sister's place. Then she said something verry wrong about me. She missed. My BS-O-Meeter switched on. She then proceded to try correcting herself, saying that the spirits were being vague. That told me that what she was really saying is "I don't have enough information about you so tell me." any time they loose it like that, it's fake. After "tuning in" (Phishing for info about my personal life) she made some verry true statements about me. She then tried to tell me that I was going to find some one new in my love life which freaked my fionce' out. Her responce to this was to say "Oh I meant a new friend, sorry about that." I couldn't take it anymore so I said "that's enough garbage for one day!" and bid them farewell.

Stay away from Sylvia Brown. Stay away from all the fame f***ers. They're all fakes. While I know a few people who are psychic, they're not going to be on Montel Williams or Paranormal State or hosting their own shows. The ones who do that are simply putting on a show and couldn't read their ways out of a paper bag with instructions inside. I know you're hurting. I know it's going to take you time to get over it. But all the famous ones are going to do is lie to you. Save your money and find someone with a good reputation who won't cost an arm and a leg. Also, stay away from the gypsies who are going to bilk you for special candles that they bought in Dollar Tree, but are going to charge you $100 a piece for.

While even law enforcement has taken serious interest in psychics, generally no.Most renowned psychics practice only for monetary gain.I tend not to believe in what cannot be scientifically explained, but this is a science that technology has not yet caught up with.
We can do virtually everything with our current technology yet noone can offer a credible hypothesis for psychic powers.I believe it's possible or law enforcement would ignore it.As for her I still have my doubts as she capitalizes on her so called talents.
There are plenty of detectives that will tell you they never believed until they recruited a psychic to help solve a case,She's full of it with an sh.

I don't know...she gives me plenty of reason to doubt her.
I find John Edward & James van Prague more believable.

Anything you see on tv could be rehearsed, so it's hard for me to swallow some of the stuff she says on Montel, even to the audience members. I'd want to talk to her myself. See if she knows anything about ME. Then I might believe.
