i am an outside the box-er. because of this however many people don't like my views and try to change my way of thinking. so far they haven't had any luck.

It depends on the problem being solved. Sometimes an issue is just so standard that there's no real point to finding a different way to accomplish it.
Other times, to solve a problem more completely and fully, you have to think outside the box to handle it.
There's certainly nothing wrong with thinking either way, it would depend on what the situation calls for. If you ALWAYS stay with one way or the other, you can't hope to be productive.
From the way your statement is phrased, I'd have to say you have issues with predictability. If you always think outside the box, wouldn't that in and of itself be predictable?

OUTSIDE the box.
still using common sense.
a triangle has 3 sides, but put a few together and you come up with all kinds of things - so a square can be a triangle and a triangle can be a box, but they don't HAVE to be either/or.
does that REMOTELY sound safe to you?
exactly.

Boxes are for packing! However due to my life experiences I have learned that society lives in a box and thats why we have become stagnant. I also believe that a new approach, however unique, is worth contemplating since it is so evident that society is going nowhere fast.

i would have to say, i think i think outside the box,,,,
alot of the cultural norms, i never felt comfortable with, and havent lived my life acting like i agree with them,,,,,
i grew up in the south usa, when segregation was still in place, yet i never felt it was right,
while im Christian, i never felt there was only one way to God,,,, and never felt my way was better,,,
i always thought the word illigetimate should never be applied to people, there are no "fake or non real babies"
just a few examples

I try.
I'd say, I have pretty liberal views but with a grain of salt.
