What kind of project. You need to be more specific: Is it a paper? or a lab. project?

If it is just a written report, I suggest you go to a local Industrial supply house in your area. They always have a lot of catalogs a brochures from the makers of sensors. You can get a lot of information from the brochures and catalogs.

If it is a lab. project try going to the plants in your area and talking with the Maintenance manager. Most of them will be willing and glad to help. But you will have to make an appointment because they are usually pretty busy.
