Essex Police and the OPP are looking for the public’s help in locating two people in a car that was seen near the scene of a murder in Harrow last month.
Larry Strangway, 41, was found dead by his wife Virginia Grant in his Erie Street North home in Harrow on the morning of May 17.
Police would like to speak with a male and female who were inside a dark coloured Chevrolet Cavalier-type vehicle across the street from the Strangway home.
The car had a number three on the trunk lid in the Nascar racing car style.
Police believe the couple may have information that could be of use to them and stress they are being sought as witnesses, not suspects.
The investigation is being led by Det. Insp. Larry Reesor of the OPP’s major crime section in Orillia.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Essex Police Service at 969-2717 or Crime Stoppers and 258-TIPS (8477).
