Ipod batteries?

Can you recharge batteries for Ipod nanos or do you have to get a new battery when one runs out?

iPod nano's have rechargable batteries installed, but after many charging cycles, the battery will gradually lose its ability to hold its charge.

I understand the battery is non user-replacable, so you have to send your nano back to Apple for a replacement. Details to be found on the Apple website.
