I agree with you, people are too sensitive and tend to misunderstand the intent of what is said. If it is not a misunderstanding, they just asked for the truth, got it, and complained. People should not ask for the truth if they do not really want to hear it.

some people are just petty. I wonder why I keep seeing people whining about the flags as if Christians or religious people are the only ones doing it. I see a lot of really intelligent and insightful answers by Christians 'thumbs downed ' by others. It goes both ways.
As a general rule, I don't thumbs down anyone for having a different opinion than myself, it is their right - I do however thumbs down if that different opinion is expressed with disrespect or hatred. I have even thumbs downed those whose opinion I agree with if their answer was expressed in an unnecessarily snide or snotty way.
I can deal with a difference of opinion, but the nastiness that is so prevelant on this board should not be tolerated by anyone. The ironic thing, I notice is, that amongst both believers and nonbelievers alike, the biggest whiners about the other being hateful, ignorant, disrespectful, etc are not much better themselves.

I'm Christian, (so does that make me "religious folks"?) but could care less about the thumbs up or down. Remember, some folks have more fun stirring up controversy than actually answering an honest question. This can apply to both "sides".

Some of the questions asked are so vile, you wonder how they make it to the screen, some of the answers are so rude. A lot of people have emotional issues. Some don't like the truth. Some think they need to preach. Some think they need to condemn the preachers. Some think they have all the answers. Freedom of speech is great, but, sometimes you have to pay for a freedom. Just keep being honest. Try not to be insulting. If you feel wronged, take it as a suggestion to word your answers better.

i don't understand. that is not honest through fact you have been telling the reality approximately your self and so no person has the suitable suited to furnish you a thumbs down for that. i'm sorry that God on no account touched you the two. All i will say is that he's real and He does love you. I on no account went to church my total existence and that i did not "have faith" in God even even with the undeniable fact that i become open to the possibility that He existed. Then while i found out that i could not stay my existence effectively on my own and that i finished up at church through fact of circumstances previous my administration and heard the gospel message and the call to ask Jesus into my heart I replied and gained the Holy Spirit. i become 40 3 on the time and that i don't understand why God did not shop me faster through fact the Bible teaches that He is conscious us earlier He even created the international. All i will say is that that is beneficial to humble your self and take a glance at back. tell God which you incredibly prefer to have faith in Him if he's real and ask HIm to bare Himself to you. Psalms fifty one:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Yikes that is a loaded question....The only way to respond to an "honest" answer on here is to flag up or down. The responses have to be honest also. When you are dealing with religion or politics people have set and strong views so if you have an answer they do not agree with, and those subjects tend to polarize people, they will thumbs down. I am of the mind set that we do NOT have to agree on everything...

There are some sections that NO MATTER WHAT you write you will get a thumbs down or flagged. Anything to do with race, religion, politics seem to be very controversial with people.
Basically you have to censor what you say, and then on top of that Yahoo censors you.

Try to be as You are, but do not worry about that in this Y!A !
Here we are different people, with different age, with different countries, with different languages and mostly different human being.
Most difficult thing is to try understand people.
When I started a month ago, I was having Your same feeling, but with the time we improve also this point.
I repeat to You, take it easy, go always with Your way, be always Yourself and mostly, do not worry about the POINTS!
In my case if I get or lose points I do not care about, is just a total numbers.
Keep You strong, and continue as You are.

Honesty honored?
You feel that you cannot express yourself honestly without someone flagging you down? Your honesty is appreciated!
I looked up your questions and it seemed to me that they tend to be generalizing. Instead of, "Are religious people....," you may consider saying, "Are some religious people ....."
There are always people all over the world, we as indivuals find nice or not so nice - and each of us may have our nicer or less nice day today!
If you choose to make your expressions relative, they may be easier to accept.
Many blessings to you.

It get that a lot myself, and I happen to be one of "those" religious folk. I find the opposite true. People in general don't care about honesty. They just want you to agree with them. If you don't then they flag you or report you.
