Suppose you are passing through a dangerous jungle. You hear the sounds of beasts. View a snake moving in front of you. The surroundings make you feel that your life is in danger. You become alert and start running fast. While running a thorn prick in your foot you scream and at once hold back your foot, remove the thorn and start running again.

After running fifteen to twenty minutes you reach the main road and catch a bus passing on the road. You feel that you are out of danger now. You start feeling relax and calm.

Name and brief the parts of nervous system which are being working in the above mentioned two emotional conditions. Also what type of the reflex action mention in the above situation.

The anxiety caused by the circumstances will lead to lack of oxygen in the body and brain and to check it, your blood circulation will be fastened by your heart and it will work harder and more quickly will it start beating & pumping the blood.[ The oxygen reaches to your body parts and brain through blood only]

The message of pain of thorn will be immediately transferred to your brain through nervous system by involuntary muscular action and in no time your brain will instruct you to hold you back as a result of reflex action.

More and more adrenaline will be pumped into your body to make you react, to survive in such a situation.

2. As soon as the danger to your life decreases, you will feel less requirement of oxygen, thus releasing the pressure from the heart causing it to slow down to normal beatings and the adrenaline will vanish in the blood stream after few moments leaving you relaxed and calm.

lungs for the most part, to bring oxygen into your muscles to help you run fast, and to scream of course, and then perhaps your eyes, because you saw what you were running from and your see whats infront of you (but not whats beneath you so that may not work) your heart rate eccelerates which help the lungs which help the muscles :) i'm pretty sure everything else shuts down b/c of the fear and adrenilene
