How many of you think it's likely that other people are just playing a game of seeing who can get to the top, in yahoo answers... even if it means their answers are chosen>>> "by-hook-or-by-crook?"
Examples of by-hook-or-by-crook>>> to buy votes (barter/persuade/beg)... or to cheat to gain votes (possibly use a different ID & vote for their own selves).

Im sure there are quite a few, you only have to look at some who have really high best answer percentages (Im talking around 60%!). That is cheating in my book, no one is going to get that high a total. Some I looked at the answers were not even what I would consider as being good! I would put that down to muliple accounts and other scams that I probably dont even know about lol.
I have a lot of points, but I play fair. I dont see any point in being "the best" and having got there by cheating. Yes I want to be number one, but I will do it fairly or not at all!!! Its not even as if there is anything more involved than points, and Im sure that nobody in the real world cares if you are the top on Yahoo Answers!!!

That's a negative outlook. Well, I would not be happy if I got the best answer because i voted for myself. The feeling is great when you are the best answer and you know that the "asker" voted for you or others voted for you. I consider it dishonesty if you vote for yourself, but they are entitled to whatever beliefs they have. I don't think however that this is predominant. It may occur but very rarely. I still believe in the basic honesty of man.
