Get some "Goof Off" or "Goo Gone" It "will" get the gum off the dryer drum. Get it at Home Depot, Lowe's or your grocery store.

Spray & Wash!
saturate the gum good and it will melt away.
It is also good on getting gum out of hair.

Try sprayng it with WD 40
