Although it's not likely, it can happen before. I had three mentrual cycles when I first got pregnant with my son, but they were lighter than the others.
The doctor told me that there was nothing wrong with me, and I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy.
More likely than not, though, it would be after. Like I said, cases like mine are not very common.

It was probably the sex before the period. There are many women who have normal menstrual cycles during their first trimester. It is very common for women to have implantation bleeding. Changes in a women's menstrual period can be attributed to more than just pregnancy. If she is on a new diet, or has increased her level of exercise, recently lost weight, or began taking a new medication, these can all account for differences. When I found out I was pregnant with my son, I'd had a normal period. I knew that it was a result of the sex before that period, because I hadn't been with my boyfriend sexually since having that period because we were fighting.

Typically it would be the sex after your period. But depending on your personal cycle before is possible too. when some one goes in for there 1st ob visit or even there second you can get a for sure idea based on the mapping of the gestational age of the fetus. But that can be off by almost 2 weeks as well. Best bet always protect unless you are triing to get pregnant.

Its usually the sex after. Because you ovulate 14 days after the first day of your last period if you have a normal 28 day cycle. Sperm can also live in the womans body for 3 to 5 days waiting for the egg

i would think it is the sex before the period that did it, because the egg is right there. you can still have a period after you get pregnant, but its a little different than normal

It depends, usually the implantation of the egg when fertilized is often associated with bleeding. Usually around the same time your period was suppose to come. Most people get there dates mixed up because of this, and assume that they had a period.

Probably the sex after, but you never know for sure. The best way to be sure who the father is is to only have unprotected sex with one guy. An even better thing to do is USE BIRTH CONTROL (condoms for the guy!!!) unless you really want to become pregnant.
Read the book "Our Bodies, Ourselves" - please learn about your body and your reproductive system. And make your boyfriends use condoms - it prevents pregnancy AND disease. If they won't do that for you, then they don't deserve to have sex with you.

this is a tricky one cause there have been known cases where woman have had bleeding for two or three months while their pregnant, my sister says she had this happen during two of her three pregnancy's. so i believe that you could be pregnant and have bleeding at the same time.
