How many of you think it's likely that other people are just playing a game of seeing who can get to the top, in yahoo answers... even if it means their answers are chosen>>> "by-hook-or-by-crook?"
Examples of by-hook-or-by-crook>>> to buy votes (barter/persuade/beg)... or to cheat to gain votes (possibly use a different ID & vote for their own selves).

Who cares? The people who will cheat for meaningless points are just keeping themselves busy with something pretty harmless. The ones who see the Internet growing into global communication, will see that. The ones who are obsessed with their own egos will sound off. Poets will rant, artists will draw, philosophers will speculate and people who are deluded will try to convince everyone else they're right.

It's an interesting world and you can pick whatever part attracts you most. If that's pointing at cheaters for you, please have fun.

It's possible...but why care? The points are simply numbers, otherwise meaningless...if someone's self esteem is so low that they feel the need to 'cheat' to get worthless points on a website, then let them...

If it was money or something tangilbe being worked toward, I could see more reasons why people might break rules to get there...

Does it bother you?
It's not like having the most points gets you a reward in life anyway. It's just something people do bcoz they're good at nothing else.
