Blacks dwelling on slavery has taught them nothing except anger and hatred, it has created a mindset of total self degradation. This has led them to kill each other, they have no hope becasue liberals like Jesse Jack@ss has led them into social slavery.

EDIT: I realize that I read this question incorrectly at first. I thought that option A was blacks dwelling IN slavery, rather than ON slavery. See where I made my mistake? Since it's dwelling on (ie, remembering) slavery as opposed to killing each other, of course the correct answer would be A. There's nothing wrong with remembering past injustices and getting a sense of community from overcoming them.

However, based on your questions and reactions, I'd say you worded this question this way on purpose in order to make white people look bad and thus further your racist agenda. (Yes, racism runs both ways, I'm afraid.) By the way, some of my ancestors were slaves, too. My great-great-grandmother was a slave who was impregnated by her "master". By way of the one-drop rule, I'm considered black, too, even though I'm 15/16 white.

In the context of how I answered the question orignally, (dwelling IN slavery as opposed to killing each other) I still stand by B. But it's a moot point, because that's not what you were asking at all.

Original (misunderstood) answer:

Wow! This is a pretty unfair question, don't you think? If a white person answers A or B, he/she's going to be considered a racist. But I think I see the point you are making here.

A, black people living in slavery, is just wrong. A person's skin color doesn't make them any less of a person. To keep someone as a slave means to treat them less than an animal. Sure, they're kept safe, fed and clothed and all that good stuff, but they're very humanity is stripped from them.

B, black people killing each other, sounds deplorable. However, why should they be expected to behave any differently than the rest of humanity? We all kill each other from time to time. It's the nature of our species. It emcompasses our free will, our need to survive and our humanity.

So B. My answer is and always will be, B.

I also misread the question since it was a race baiting type.

Its always hard to classify the racist one is responding to.

At the moment there are alot of black people, (certainly not all), who dwell ON slavery AND we have way too many blacks killing each other.

Are these related? I mean, an injustice was done. Now since blacks in the States are poor, partly because many decended from slaves who were freed but left with nothing, well obviously many are still poor. People living in bad conditions is certainly a major reason some of them turn to crime. On the other hand, over dwelling on the past, may keep some blacks from reaching their true potential in the modern society. While obviously barriers exists (aka poverty and racism), people who tend to succeed in life are people who make the best of their opportunities.

Are you still angry? Oh well, what to do about it.

On the otherhand, I've worked with blacks who basically do their job well and earn respect. Some of them make MORE money than I do. These people are too busy living life to dwell constantly on the injustices of the past.

well, i am learning about slavery in school ,and it is quite sad that the europeans felt that they couldn't do anything for themselves. my teacher says that indians weren't enslaved because they couldn't stand the heat. now, for the killing, anyone could do that. i would prefer noone killing anybody.

Honestly, im not dwelling over S***, so if this is an attempt to make us africans feel bad, then try again. I'm not trying to affend you , i'm just saying what i think.

This is really non productive thinking here. . I would hope you mean well and just have not thought things out fully. No one should dwell on slavery, inorder to learn we do not have to dwell on negative points within our history. Be aware and know why things are they way they are is fine.

I don't concern myself with the color of a person's skin. What matters to me is whether the person has a good heart, and how they treat me.
