Think about what you were before you were born. You were nothing. You knew nothing.
That's what death feels like. I don't think I'm scared of that.
We're all animals. And I think if our life is in danger, we will do whatever we can to save it.
If it comes to that, we'll have adrenaline, and our basic fight-or-flight survival skills will come into play. Pain won't be a downer at that point. It will be an important message our body is sending our brain.
Don't believe what you see in the movies. And if you see someone on the news, or on a reality show screaming or crying, because they lost a loved one, that's because those people always scream or cry.
Everything will be ok.

No, I’m not afraid of death.
Death has not placed fear within me. Why? Well, being that I have had several people die in front of me (including my mother), and knowing Jesus Christ, I truly have no fear of death. Now, not being afraid doesn’t take away my thoughts of the unknown. You know, the how will I die? Will I die by fire, drowning, murder, plane crash, etc.? The not knowing is the only thing that distracts my thoughts, not the fear of dying. But, I’m not worried about it, when it comes, I will not fear it, just would want it to be over as quick as possible.
Be blessed.

I'm afraid-still have night mares bout it~weird right?
On a conscience level.....I think it more the thought of being dead that I can't handle.
The things I'll miss. The possible pain or suffering. The people I can't be with anymore. The shear thought of my exsistance being totally gone. I'm selfish at times and just don't like things to have an end.

No. Death is a part of life no matter what it is going to happen. Now the way I die that one can be a little scary. But once your born you already start dying, crazy aint it. I hope I have a pleasant death. Like dying in my sleep. I dont want to fall off a building or get shot that would hurt. But o well. FROM ME!!!!!!HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!!!!!!!

Why be afraid of something that you will most likely not know happened unless it is a trauma situation. Most deaths you will not even know you died. Lights out , thats it, you cannot think about it so you do not know it happened. Where people "fear" death is the idea of everyhting being over and leaving people behind and things undone. You cannot predict when you are going to die, you can only make it sooner than later.

Yup, I am.
I like this life so much, I don't want to leave it.
I'm afraid of pain and being unable to take care of things myself.
Given a choice, which I know I don't have..... I would lke to stay just as I am now. I am looking forward to retirement, but I want to do it in good health. I dread getting older, sicker, and more forgetful. Sorry for the downer..... but you asked.

No, I'm not afraid of death.....I really believe I'll be going to a better place after I'm dead, a place where i can reunite with my loved ones who died already.
However, I AM afraid of the WAY I may die......I hope it's painless and quick!

no, i'm not afraid of death. never really knew why. i guess its b/c i find it silly to be afraid of something that happens to everyone. Something unpreventable.
I'm actually interested in death. (not wanting to die type of thing)
more along the lines of what happens next. or does something happen next? that kinda thing. Because, you basically can't tell where you will go, what will happen, or what it will be like until you die.

Not anymore, now that my kids are grown and retirement is just around the corner(less than 10 years) I feel I've done a fine job, and when God is ready to take me, let his will be done. Until then, I will keep on doing the best that I can.
