My eyes and mouth feel dry, my lips are chapped, my eyes seem sunken in and my skin doesn't feel very soft.. I don't like water so sometimes I go for a long time without. Is this dehydration? Will these symptoms go away if I drink water? How long will it take?

Looks like you answered your own question. You know you don't drink enough water and you've described a lot of symptoms of being dehydrated.
Get bottled water or regular tap water and put a few drops of concentrated lemon in it so it won't taste bad. Put them in bottles and chill in the fridge, whatever it takes to get the water down.
Guzzle it!

Are you weak?

Pinch the skin on your arm. If the skin goes back down immediately then you are not dehydrated but if the skin stays in the "pinch" you are.

Get some Gatorade and drink it the symptoms will go away very fast probably in a day.

You can get some powder or bottles of Pedialyte in the drug store - it is made for babies but adults can rehydrate with it too. The effect of pedialyte is almost instantaneous and your will feel better very quickly.

The human body needs water. Whether you take water as tea, juice, punch, whatever: get some liquids into your system.

Yes, I was taking diet pills metabolite and other diet pills and I had chapped lips and dry mouth and heart burn and I shriveled up like a raisin and looked much older.
Lost weight real fast but it was all water. Then tried weight watchers and even with that you have to count calories.
Keep track of how many calories a day you eat. And to be able to get down more water eat sno cones. That sno cone machine about 10. at wal mart and a case of Atkins syrup with out sugar.
Or diet soda. Now I snack on sno cones. No calories but I can get down 8 glasses of water a day. You can count coffee as long as it is decaf. The Atkins diet made me look 100 years old.
It worked but I didn't want to look sick. The Weight Watchers made me look 10 years younger. That is what everyone told me.

yea about 2 days, try water with a subtle of fruit juice. These are all signs that are being caused from your kidneys. This is because they need fluid.

Chew gum at the same time. You need to generate moisture in your mouth. But make sure you are drinking the water at the same time. Otherwise you will dry up further.

Hope this helps...

I would say the best advice for you would be to, yes, drink more water. After a couple days of good, pure hydration, most of these (if not all) symptoms will go away.

I'm kind of like you, water really isn't my thing. However, I find that if it is of high quality, pure, filtered water (please, no tap water!), it actually tastes and feels much more refreshing. For me personally, it is also easier to drink water if it is cool.

Generally, you should be drinking 8-10 glasses of water each day, ideally one glass as soon as you wake up in the morning.
