However, if problems start to occur prior to the 1 year, you should go have them checked out.

If you wear glasses or contacts, small changes in your sight that call for a new prescription may not seem to impair your vision, but could cause symptoms such as nausea and headaches. Better to get it taken care of sooner than waiting.

If you have no vision problems, at least once every two years below thirty, once a year above 30. Eye sight remains pretty stable between 20 and 30. But if you have danger of glaucoma, you should see the eye Doctor every year.
