It is nature. There could be a subconscious break in the relationship on either the part of the father or the part of the son, but scientific studies have confirmed that homosexuality is genetic.

If nature made all creatures gay then how might want to a race live on? If nature made each and every thing gay then there might want to be a good number of happiness. someone chooses their mate and their existence kind. a good number of people artwork at Mc D's does this mean they're mentally lost or purely attempting to pay the costs even as searching for a brighter destiny. sex is a decision people can live on without it, it isn't a existence or lack of existence count number. charm to something is in a good number of cases realized by ecosystem. flow out to the rustic and watch all the purple necks of their 4by 4s. they does not have it any opposite direction. Does this mean they have a 4*4 favor or a 4*4 determination in existence? Sexual desires reason alternatives besides the undeniable fact that the guy nonetheless makes the alternative contained sooner or later. desires can replace that is as a lot because the guy to both provide right into a favor or enable the will run their existence.

I believe it could be both. A friend of mine from elementary school was obviously "different" or more feminine at a very young age. I began to notice it in the 4th grade. You cannot tell me that is nurture. He didn't come out until he was 16 but he was still obviously gay. I remember people making fun of him for it constantly.

I do think that some guys turn gay later in life in fear of being hurt or because of something happening to them.

I also can't leave this one alone. You asked a simple question, one that involves insight and a little intelligence. Half of the answers you received don't even answer your question. They say stuff like "God will help them" or "they are going to hell" or "It is a sin". Geez can't you people have an intellectual conversation without bringing your religion into it?

I'd say both to a degree. In some cases, it is biological for one to be gay. Some gay men have less testosterone or something from what I've read in the past. And it could be because of something different in the brain.

It can also have some nurture too
-Some just become gay and they can not help it
-Some want to be rebellious
- Emotional things like what you said
- Can't get people from the other sex
-Same feelings for both sexes
-Knowing you did not like the other sex that much anyway

Those kinds of things

Sorry, it doesn't have anything to do with the "father figure".
It is a biological variation, no different (except in frequency) than being born with blue eyes.

My parents have been together 51 years, they have 5 kids. We were all raised in the same environment with the same parents and 2 of us are lesbians. I highly doubt nurture had much to do with it.

Relatively speaking what does it matter. I don't feel it has anything to do with parents. I do feel that sometimes it can be from a bad experience. But sometimes I feel they are born that way. I feel that isn't my business to judge people for what they chose. If they are happy that should be all that matters.

Humans are complex. Homosexual behavior is found in many different species around the world--including dolphins, bird species and other primates.

For the most part, it is nature. Think about your own sexuality...did you choose it? There are cases in which it is caused by childhood sexual abuse in which imprinting for homosexual behavior takes place.

I guess it a little of both. I knew I was bi the moment I hit puberty. I never felt neglected. My parents are still married and I see to them at least once a week. I'm not out, but I do think that they suspect, which makes me wonder why they never confronted me about it until lately, dropping little hints. I think if they would have talked to me about it earlier, it wouldn't be so hard for me. So, like I said, a mix of both. Different strokes for different folks.
