My honest opinion is i would let anyone help me out male or female because most won't admit it but us men NEED help a lot
why be arrogant and pretend you know what your doing when everyone around you knows that you are wrong. It did take me a few years tho to accept the help as a typical bloke i thought i knew everything how wrong i was.
PS thanks for your polite answer to my question..Wink ..

This is just a misreading of men - men, as well as women, appreciate a challenge. Healthy, sane, confident men, that is. Many other men humbly accept being welcome mats to the women in their lives because their spouse/girlfriend has perfected the Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde routine - you know who you are out there. In the case of your husband, I don't have enough information on what exactly goes on when you "try to help him" - but please be mindful that even helpful and honest criticism given by you - especially at certain moments - can only come across as nagging. And men never, ever, ever want to be nagged. There are other, more subtle ways to get a man to come around to your way of thinking, but unfortunately, I haven't met many women who are hip to this yet. Which is unfortunate for all people in relationships everywhere.

You try to help him...especially when he is wrong? Hmmm, wonder if that has anything to do with him being annoyed. Maybe your "help" is being viewed not so much as "help" by him. Perhaps it might be better to ask if he needs help, and not insist on helping. He may view your "help" as "doing it your way" or insulting his intelligence. Tough to say for sure, but it is a safe bet that if he gets mad when you offer help, he is not viewing it as an honest offer of help.
Back to your original question...I cannot speak for all men, but I personally am most attracted to a woman who treats me well...as long as treating me well does not include thinking for me.

funnily enough my other half quite enjoys it when I am giving him verbal abuse, only when we are messing about though.
I don't know though about men being less attracted to women who treat them well, mine loves it when I look after him and do things for him. maybe it depends on the man. I think though that men generally don't like their bad points being spoken about lets face it the truth does hurt
