I use it often, and when I use it it is usually to congratulate a baby on doing something well, like going potty or applauding or eating their food (you get the idea).

It is the kind of word that by its sound alone makes people feel uplifted, don't you think?

No, not really but that is probably because I don't see it written or hear it spoken very much.
Now that I see it I may use that in my daily conversations.
