New Year's means, to me, a time to start over, in a way, to go over the things that have happened in past years and find ways to make this year better than the last one. I think New Year's is a good time to go over your mistakes and try to learn from them.

A chance to look back on the old year and look forward to the new year. Also a good time to go out. No resolutions yet.

Resolutions were a big thing years ago but have shifted with the wind these days as even if you make one your mostly likely to forget it before it even started.
New year has only nean the beginning of a new year and nothing else to me. Just a passing in time.

Its a time to consider what we've accomplished in life, the goals we have yet to reach, the changes we would like to make in ourselves, thus the traditional resolutions. I usually go through this at my birthday too. One of my New Years resolutions is to be less judgmental. (Its a Virgo thing.)

Review and finding ways to improve my way of life with those around me. I never tell my resolutions cause I like to actually do them...!I also like the fact that ppl are happier on that day than X-mas cause that is THE nite when people actually breathe by the nose and decide to leave the past where it actually belongs: behind.

Well as I say ever year, I'm going to try to keep my NYR's but it always doesn't work out that way.
My NYR's are to get a B in all my classes 2nd semester and raise my GPA to at least a 3.20, make some new college friends, be more friendly and warm in general, make a savings plan, lose at least 20lbs.
What else lets see...... Eat more fruit and veggies, Study for my college course more, Fill out as many scholarships as I can, so I won't have to take out so man loans.
I'm at that point where the only important things are related to college.
