i tried starting it and on the info screen it said wait 3 min then start that procedure didnt work

This car uses a anti-theft system called vats.there is apellet in the key ,what happens is the little wires in the ign cyl break and the anti-theft module can`t read the key. this is common on these year models. have to remove steering wheel and related component`s to get to it.
