How Old Are Your Christmas Ornaments?

1) How old are your christmas ornaments?
2) Do you buy christmas ornaments every year?

why did you say that I don't wanna know how old your christmas ornaments are?
that's why I asked the question....

before my daughter was born, i purchased two little ornaments, then when my daughter was born,,,,, 19 years ago, i bought just enough ornaments just to cover a small tree,,,, then each year i purchased one, maybe two more items,,, and also included the things she made at school,,,,, a few of that group i bought the first year have gotten broken,, but everything else has survived,,, so as the ornaments grew, so has our christmas trees,,,,, i wrap each breakable ornament in paper towels each year,,,
our overall tree looks very old fashioned and homey, and we love it! its such fun each year to unwrap each item,

1) the oldest were made by my son in early grammer school (about 15 years old now)
2) we weren't able to buy something too often, but last year we got a set of PIRATE ornaments (the chest and parrot included!), and this year I've been working and saving, so we be shoppin' ...

most of them are about six years. but i do try to get a special ornament or two every year.

Wow, some are as old as I am.(29). My great grandma made them, but yes, we buy a few new ones every year as well.

Most of them are my parents so they are from the 50's and 60's. And others were added thru the decades.
