think about this clearly, the motor gets hot, and the radiator cools it down all controlled by the thermostat. with the car compleatly cold, start it up and feel both upper and lower radiator hoses. the one that starts to get warmer first is where the thermostat is. some exoticat cars even use the thermostat as an aluminam housing one piece in one of the hoses. but where ever you feel heat first you will find the thermostat. i hope that this helps.

Go to a NAPA store and they will help you.
They can show you diagrams and give you advice.
Or go to the public library and look in the "Chilton's" or "Motors" manual. If you don't know how to use the book the librarian will help you.
