I have a fund raiser dinner to attend of which the dress attire is casual elegant? What exactly would this be? HELP!!!

It means don't wear a business suit or an after five type dress with cleavage and back exposed.
The mid line is a nice "little black dress" or its equivalent. Something not too dressy, but a cut above a shift.

I think a "little black dress" would be fine. Don't dress it up too much - maybe a few bangles. You can always dress an outfit up or down by your hairstyle and accessories. If in doubt, bring along some accessories that you can quickly tuck into your purse if they're not fitting.

Less formal than business attire, but nothing that draws more attention to you than the purpose of the fundraiser. Be casually attractive, but not showy.
