I will write my review and then a comparison review with 5 other books on foreign policy of the WWII era. I must also reference the work of other reviewers. I have only found four other reviews. I find the author bias. I'm interested in other views.

I haven't read it, but here are some ideas you might pursue. Alex Danchev did a review called "Tiger Shooting Together" and reviewed Heinrichs, Miner, and Rock in Reviews in American History.

I believe that William Rock was cited in David Cannadine's article "Historians as Diplomats?" (New England Quarterly, Vol. 72, No. 2, June, 1999, pp. 207-231) so there may be something there to follow a lead on.

If you read German (I think) you might look at the link to see if that PDF gives you an idea worth chasing. Take a look at Centennial Review Vol. 36, 1992.

Cecelia Lynch had some comments in a footnote (p. 5) that will be useable if nothing else is.

Good luck.
