I never see myself in dreams. For instance, the other night I looked in a mirror and looked like a very young Winona Ryder with short pixie hair.

that only happened to me once. I was a pretty red head ballerina with long hair up into a bun and a pink ballerina's outfit. I never had long hair..well that long. my hair is red but not light red as in the mirror. the face resembled mine a little but was someone else's face. I have never been a ballerina or even dressed up as one that I can remember. a ballerina is so NOT me. Yet I know in the dream that girl was me. I was also in a house that was mine in the dream but does not look like mine in reality. strange.
also, not that it makes a difference or anything...but my mirror was a oval one in the hallway that I looked into

I have yet to see a mirror in my dreams. But, I do see myself.

Your reflection could be showing you how you see yourself, unconsciously. Consciously, you may feel invisible or over looked. And the young girl with pixies could be signaling you to deal with the little girl within...past hurts, for example.

Be blessed.

Nightmare! You are watching too much E! on TV.

Seriously, you want to change yourself. Maybe you do not want to cut your hair in a short pixie haircut but your subconsciously want change in your appearance.

Get a new hairdo and some new makeup and maybe your inner psyche will be happier with your outer appearance.
