Hi, Both fields r good. If u r dng B tech in comp Sc or in IT u wl get gud
job after having some exp... Its all depend on ur priorities.. What ur heart says do that...The openings in the IT Industry have increased exponentially in the past four years. The downfall caused after 9/11 is no more and IT industry business is back to its best with the increasing global IT power. With this as the backdrop, the IT guru's of India have projected that at least 10 million IT engineers are needed in India by 2008. Both fields r good.. Even my frnd had done B tech in comp sc and he got gud job at infosys.. Now its upto u to decide. B tech in comp sc or in IT..

Check your interest first. Next read up the details of the course branch that u are enrolling to. Let's say, u prefer using technology to make biz decisions better, IT would be better. But if u like to know if algorithm A is better than B, Comp Sc is for you.

Thumps Up for deciding to take your carreer to Management. Coming to your question, As you have said IIM's (6 colleges) are the top one's in India. Indian B-Schools. CAT - Commom Admission Test ( 6 IIM's + 70 colleges) XAT - XLRI Admission Test ( 3 XLRI colleges + 30 other colleges) JMET - Joint Management Enterance Test ( IIT's + IIS's) MAT - Management Aptitude Test ( 100+ colleges) CAT is the most looked MBA enterance exam. There are some other Good colleges who conduct separate exam for their intake.
