tomboy looking to be more girly?

Hi, I am not a complete tomboy I do love girly clothes like river island especially, but I mostly wear trousers as I am not a huge fan of dresses but I would consider it, my biggest problem is shoes or boots, I always waer trainers or timberlands out shopping or to see mates etc, but I am looking for something with a low heel that I can wear with lots of things and some other ideas on girly clothes?

I think the first thing to make sure is that the trousers you are wearing are form flattering. If they are a boycut, they won't do anything for you. The Gap has some great dress pants (try the curvy fit... it looks good on just about everyone!)

If you got some great pants, just go looking for a pointed toe with a heel about 1 to 2 inches. I know I have some great ones in my closet that I love. Steve Madden, Nine West, even places like Target and Famous Footwear have some great shoes at times. Especially when you are on a budget!

Plus, when you are just hanging out with girls, a good-fitting jean is always great too. Paired with a cami and a jacket, you are going to look cute and casual. A nice sweater is always good too.

If you are still having problems, go to a store and ask for help. Some employees LOVE shopping with customers for a good look.

you can find a low heel, wedge boot , basic black, that goes with just about everything.. blue jeans and a simple shirt, trousers and a blouse, etc. the best thing to do is go at it step by step. maybe wear your hair down or add a bang here and there. I was the same way up until i was about 19. Take your time, if you rush into being 'girly' you'll feel way uncomfortable. hope this helps :)

Start by wearing skirts and a t-shirt. then wear the same thing but add matching make-up like if skirt blue blue eye shadow. then wear flip flop heals( short but wearable) then go on to pointy shoes Payless & target have low heel ones since you said low heals. Wear long necklaces and wrap around twice. Diomand rings are in but you don't have to get the real kind. wear hair wavy or crimped, straight with flat iron, put in low pony tail then put clip 2 in. above where band is.

There are these low heel(actually no heel) clogs that are really in style now... moccasins are cute too. even some nice tennis sneakes are good.

buy some nice jeans that fit all around your butt. you dont need to wear dresses just because you are a girl. skirts are in style too.

even wal mart has some nice girly clothes if you are looking for something cheaper. get some nice shirts that are tighter;;; hope i helped...

If you want to look girlish for the guys, try dressing in the "Catholic Girl" uniforms. I'm not saying wear one evrey day, but once in a while and trust me the guys will notice.

Try steve madden. I bought balck ballet flats for a wedding rehearsal, they are comfortable, and steve madden has really comfortables shoes. I heard aerosoles has good ones too....... you should go check out aerosoles because i heard they have the SOFTEST shoes of all time.

C'mon, you know how to find girly clothes - SO WEAR THEM.

But girly is also about attitude and demeanor. How would they tell you to speak, act, sit, stand, & eat at charm school??

you could wear those flip flops with a little heel...those go with about anything. Well...for girly clothing...there is alot, and i'm not exactly sure what you taste is....
