Hi, I was just wondering if the baby moves while you are in labor, all the way to delivering your baby? I am 27w and I have been looking into some labor info and I was just curious. Thanks!!

Hi! Both of my children "moved" during labor up until the transition stage. Once they're fully engaged in the pelvis, room is limited. In addition, the contractions are pushing your baby further down, and as they come closer together there is less "time" for the baby to move. Make sure you let your practioner know if you don't feel movement every two hours in your third trimester!

You're going to do great!

The baby usually will move very little or not at all during labor
thats how i knew that my contractions were real labor cause my babies ( i had 2) would slow down A LOT! during delivery they are being pushed out so they arent moving around too much besides there is no where for them to move around! LOL hope this helped! good luck with your baby!

Some times it all depends on the person and the pregnancy. Each one is very differrent.. I have a 4mnth old baby and she moved and wiggled when I was in labor up until the time she came out and she is still quit the little wiggle worm

I gotta agree with the person above me. I've had 3 babies and I don't remember at all. So from that, I'd guess that the baby stays pretty still because the womb keeps contracting around it. Maybe someone who just delivered can tell us.

You know, I dont know and I have had 3 babies and one on the way, but I had natural child births, so maybe i just didnt pay any attention or notice this. I was too busy concentrating on other things. Ill be curious as to what others say.
