Castration will not make your voice higher but if done before puberty, removal of your testicles wouldl keep it from deepening.

My question is why would you be thinking about getting your testicles removed in the first place?

The meaning of your question that I catch is you want to make your voice higher by remove your testicles.
Is higher voice more important than your testicles?
It's weird, man.

No, your vocal chords have matured with your age, however. A long time ago in the Roman Catholic church, when a young boy was found to have a beautiful singing voice, his family had the option of having him castrated so that he would never go through puberty and keep his singing voice. The were called castrato. It didn't always work well, many of these boys still went through a change of voice.

If they are removed before puberty, the voice will remain high into adulthood. If they are removed after puberty and the voice has already gone through normal deepening, it will not change after castration because the vocal chords will not change. That is what I have read.

The above answer is quite correct. Why would anyone want to mutilate himself so severely just to have a higher voice?
