I don't know a whole lot about sports, but there's a ton of different routes you could take. Sports is a huge topic, so you can pretty much talk about anything. The acceptance of women in certain sports; product placement/advertising during sporting events; criminal activity among sports players; the racial diversity (or lack thereof) within certain sport leagues; violence at sporting events... that's all I've got right now.
