There are no set values for either the ingredients or the percentages of composition for water based wall putties.

White cement, gray cement, polymers and plastic resins, various chemicals and mineral fillers (including plaster of Paris and gypsum) have all been used. Sometimes pigments are added.

Some of these putties are designed to stop water seepage and others are not.
