My favorite book is Armor, by John Steakley. I work in a bookstore, and suggest it to anyone looking to read something outside of their usual reading preferences. It's a great book.
My favorite play is Faust, by Goethe. Although I did see John Astin do a one man play called Once Upon A Midnight, and he played Edgar Allen Poe. That was great, too!
