I seem to feel constantly tired, i wake up feeling unrefreshed. I sometime have a lie down and think i'll just have alittle sleep for an hour but i am asleep for three hours and still feel tired. I do struggle sometimes to get to sleep at night, but surely i shouldn't be this tired and its begining to really get me down. I also have a loss of appetite which occurs every two to three weeks, although i do try to eat healthily and take vitamins i can't seem to get my weight above 8stone. Now i'm feeling depressed because i feel so run down and i'm 23. Anyone help???

I suggest seeing your Doctor from the sounds of things you may actually be experiencing depression. nothing to fell ashamed of many people experience it everyday and the treatments out there for it are overwhelming. I think once you see a doc and and get the help you need you will start sleeping better and feeling like your self again. please take care

It's very possible that you have an iron deficiency, anaemia or there could be a problem with thyroid function. You certainly need to get to a doctor and have a full range of blood tests taken! Then take it from there! These things are often down to poor diet, but you say that your's is healthy so it looks like there could be something amiss with your bloods! Whatever it is, I'm sure you'll get some answers soon and it will be sorted out!XXX

A common problem is that during the day if you dont tire yourself out and try to sleep on top of that then it will make you feel like you haven't slept at all, i had the same problem and this is what my doctor told me.

Sounds very much like ME to me - you need to see a doctor very soon to get this sorted.

ME is the result of a viral infection and leaves you with all of the symptoms you describe - it's very debilitating and needs treatment.

It sounds like hormonal trouble or depression. Please go and see your Doctor. It could also be an under-active thyroid gland. Are you particularly stressed at the moment? Your doctor is more qualified to answer this question so please make that appointment. He will be able to asses what other things are going on with you. Hope you find the answer. :o)

You could be anaemic, you could take some iron tablets. If you're diets poor then you'll always be tired.
