I love both but I love my horse!

I consider myself to be a all around animal lover. I have 4 mares that are sooo sweet. I also have 20 head of cattle they to are wonderful. Then comes the small animals we have 6 cats and 3 dogs. I love them all. Each and everyone has a different personality just like people do. If I could pick the best of them all I think (which is very hard) I would choose my 3 adult feline siblings. They were a natural addition to our family. We raised their mother since she was 2 weeks old. And before we fixed her she had a litter of 3 males. Then she was fixed as soon as her litter was weaned. Those cats are so lovely towards us. My Husband and I sleep with 6 cats and 1 blue heeler (doesn't leave much room for us).

More of a cat person really! Have never had dogs as a family but very fond of other peoples'! I can understand why people love dogs so much! They're very interactive and doting but for me it would be a lot of responsibility and I'm such a cleaning freak I couldn't bear the mess and the dog hair everywhere! And cleaning up their poop!! (sorry to lower the tone!) Cats are so independent and I love the way they have the cheek to find a bed in the strangest places like knicker drawer or on a pile of freshly laundered towels!

You are sooo lucky to be able to have a horse. Between dogs or cats I would have to choose dogs.

If dogs had dignity, I'd like them. But they don't. There is an interesting theory that those who like dogs best had a better relationship with their father, whilst those who like cats better related to their mother. But that is a whole new question. . .

I'm a cat person who tolerates other animals. My husband is a DEFINITE cat person. Doesn't like dogs, doesn't like reptiles, doesn't like fish. But, he really loves cats.
