scratch, and if it really hurts i press my nail right in the center of it...usually makes it feel better for a while. Once I had so many on my legs that itched so bad, one night I just scratched away a whole layer of skin, maybe two. The shower the next day has to be the most painful thing i've ever gone through.

I put rubbing alcohol on it. It cools it and takes away the itch for a while. It also disenfects. Try not to scratch. I've also made baking soda paste if I didn't have cream on hand.

You should use your thumb nail to press an 'x' shape into it. Works for me every time.
