It's 10 million more women. Not 10-1 and that's largely because male life expectancy is around 54 (due largely to unhealthy lifestyle) whereas women's is similar to U.S./Western European levels. That means there are lots of babushkas in Russia. Would you like one of them?
There are some young women who believe the world outside of Russia is paved with gold but they still have high standards and huge expectations. You could describe them as 'feisty' and they won't be happy with a two-up, two-down in Oldham.

I think that most marriages in the UK are commercially oriented. e.g. I will marry you and have sex with you, give you children and do the housekeeping and in return you will go out and work and bring back money that we can all share in. The love thing is transient and sexual attraction changes over the years, but in enduring marriages, the deal is the constant. I tend to think that people are offended when this is starkly quantified.
As to where you can find/buy a wife can I suggest google might be a good idea.
