Implants are permanent as long as you don't have them removed. Your choice of plastic surgeon will have a counselor discuss all those questions with you before you decide to go forward. Every surgeon is different and I was suggest setting up free consultations with more than one before making a final decision. You will need follow up appts and cost varies -- usually in the range of $2500 - $5000......Almost all offices will offer free consultations. I know...I'm a nurse who specialized in plastic surgery.

The new silicone implants last a lifetime, they don't need to be replaced. You will have three or four check ups after the procedure; after that, none at all. For the most complete guide on how to get great plastic surgery at unbeatable prices check out http://www.surgeryabroadguide.com . Good luck!

Breast Implants surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

I wish you wouldn't do this to yourself. It is usually so obvious to everyone else when a woman has had breast implants. I can only imagine how weird it must feel.

Abby, I think you should learn to love your body just the way it is. The risks far outweigh the benefits of breast augmentation. Plus, it would be much cheaper to go to WalMart and purchase one of those breast enhancers that stick to your breast and make them look fuller and make you have some cleavage. Try this before permanently harming your body, please!
Good luck!
